NOT SURE IF WANT

I want to buy a good winter jacket (currently have a ski jacket that's a pain in the ass to wear casually) and there are two possible choices in my eye.

I went by the Official Olympic store at The Bay today and found they have only one of these left in stock and it's REALLY snazzy (except it's a dark gray which I ensure you is better than the black one here)
<-actually the gray one is there

Its pricetag is about $150, not a cheap deal at all but pennies compared to the next choice, especially when considering how this is apparently the last chance I have at acquiring this jacket before the Olympics. It isn't even on the online store or Ebay.

The other jacket I had on mind is the Rolls Royce of winter jackets, Canada Goose parkas that devour my wallet at $500+ but it's not only popular with Canadian gangsters but also used by scientists and expeditionary forces in the north - not to mention them being plentiful and having a good selection, really. The fur on the hood is authentic and OH LAWD IT FEELS REALLY SOFT YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW AMAZING IT IS. THOSE COYOTES, MAN. The pricetag I imagine is justified because it's the parka used by scientists at the McMurdo Station, Antarctica.

So yeah.. I dunno. Any ideas?

Нашему супервайзеру по эффектам понравилось, захотел себе в офис на стеночку картинку ) Ну хоть кто-то с чувством юмора здоровым, а то некоторые начали видеть там себя, губки надули, воду на них стали возить...

Didn't do much this weekend. It snowed, but nearly as much as we were prepared to receive. So on Sunday rather than staying holed up we ventured out.

I bought medium to repot my to Phalanopsis orchids. I hope they will be happy in their slightly larger pots. Both have started new bloom stems about two months ago. I was startled to find that the original medium of one of my orchids was regular potting soil! I'm very surprised it never died over the last year! They're good for another two years or so now though. I hope my spikes do bloom around April!

Rescued a little christmas cactus too, from home depot. Hopefully it survives. My mom has very bad luck with christmas cacti. My single southern window is taken over with my orchids and a sage... but I am hopeful for a shelf to give more plant access to my window!

Anyone with more experience than I on these plants may feel free to advise! I'm newest to the realm of cacti care, but apparently it's very similar to orchid care.
